“SERVICES” is an extremely important topic for understanding the current dynamic of modern economies and societies.  More importantly for Romania, the topic is considered to be a priority at the European Union level, especially in relation with the process known as “Lisbon process”. The project primarily contributes to developing and integrating the research capacities of most relevant Romanian academic and research institutions scientifically involved in improving and disseminating knowledge related to services and their role for competitiveness, economic growth and social welfare. In subsidiary, the project also serves at combining economic, social and sustainability objectives in a European perspective and foresight activities on major science, technology and related socio-economic issues.
